Big Pilot’s Watch Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition “AMG ONE OWNERS” (Ref. 5905)
Engineering at the Edge of Possibility
The Big Pilot’s Constant-Force Tourbillon AMG ONE Owner’s Edition was conceived for a rare audience: individuals who already own one of the most advanced hypercars ever built.
It represents the outer limit of what we could technically and materially achieve, titanium aluminide, Ceratanium®, and a constant-force tourbillon combined in one uncompromising object. This was not about restraint. It was about mastery.
This project was about matching an absurd machine with an equally uncompromising watch. Titanium aluminide, a material from high-performance engine components, is brutally light and technically difficult. Ceratanium® adds hardness without losing sharpness. Together, they create something that feels advanced before you even understand why.
This was also the first time the “Manfredi Line” made it into a final product. A thin visual interruption between structural layers, reducing perceived mass and sharpening proportions. A small line, but a real shift in how we could shape and lighten architecture.
From Campaign to One-Off
The launch campaign with Lewis Hamilton brought the project into a different dimension. Working closely on that chapter eventually led me to design his personal unique piece, a watch outside the catalogue, tailored to his world. From hypercar owners to a single individual, the scale changed. The level of attention did not.
It’s a watch for a handful of people.
For me, it marks the moment where material experimentation and personal conviction aligned and stayed.
